Smoothbore results

I took my 62 cal. smoothbore out to the range to try and tighten up my groups. I have been shooting to the right of my target and the first 4 shots yesterday were no different, they just made it on my target outside the black circle. I did feel myself flinching so I dry fired several times using a piece of wood instead of my flint. So I settled down and followed through on my next 4 shots, all ended up in the black circle. I just need to keep shootin this smoothie. I think the slightly bent barrel isn't as bad as I thought and I will just leave it be. The target was at 30 yds using 70gr. 3F and a .60 ball with a .020 ox yoke patch.

Johnny,

Flinters take a bit of attention to detail. It looks like you are on the right track.
