2012 hunt season

Just looking for stories and photos of the deer season. Hope everyone is safe and having a good year. I located 2 nice buck this year and 'saved' them for the daughter. We had a huge 8pt last day archery that I seen 3x before do as I told her. Come out thick weeds on a trail..and when it showed up all we could see were the horns walking..then out step the doe he was following. Just as mr big step in the open, out step a smaller buck and the woods exploded right 15 yds in front of us..He was jabbing, stabbing and trying to run over the smaller buck while he was tryin to get away,spinning in the air, etc..all the while,no shot was to be made at the whirlwind of action. They ended up running past us so close my daughter could of grabbed mr big by the horns or stuck foot out and tripped him..(no treestand)..Then they stop to catch breath just 4 steps behind us before continue the chase over the hill..blind was cherry tree rootball that had fallen over with nice oak next to it to hide between..perfect spot..but is a memory that was made that day we both will never forget..only wish had on video.
The other buck I had on camera behind the house showed up about 11:00 and bed in the thick weeds for 5 hrs..she was in stand this time and had to wait him out..then he got up to eat, end of story. 8pt. Most of the time I sit with her and have got to look down the xbow or rifle while she pulled trigger and to me that is more fun than doing it myself..but I stay at house huggin the heater yesterday but went up to help her. She does it all..I figured long ago, let them learn how to take care of the game after they get it..and as I have mentioned in other posts, she had even dressed deer in woods for others that said, I have no clue how to do this..(maybe a plan?)..but was their first deer. Said their dad always did it for them.
One of the hunt for share the harvest guys told me they would be hunting down those buck themselves..I said, located for the kid..I not shoot out from under them..have lots of horns on the wall..time to pass the 'buck'
