game camera

Does any one know of any good sales coming up on game cameras. I'm on a all expense paid trip to Afghanistan will not be back until just before hunting season starts will not have much time to scout so I will really need to put the cameras out. Plus any game cameras you recommend thank you

Its hard to say what the retailers are going to do. It seems like everytime I look at Cab or Bass Pro there is something on sale. I don't own one so I have no idea what is or isn't good however most stuff from Wildgame is a pos. When you due back? I may be a Maine resident if its in the fall.

If you want quality

There is a guy on michigan-sportsman com that makes home brew cameras. He uses sony camers in his builds. The pictures are the best I have ever seen. Fact is he just put another one in the classifieds today. His screen name is don. They are not cheap at around $200 but they are worth very penny.

Look at the Moultries, or SpyPoints. I have a coulple moultries that take great pictures, and are fairly easy on batteries.... Took over 4000 pics last spring bear season.. still had over 80% battery life left.
