Many States have already closed their deadline for applying for an Elk tag. Let us know what your waiting on....

Not going draw this year.Possibly left over Bull...depends on what GMU is left.

Unit 40 Colorado

I put in for Colorado unit 40 first rifle season tag with 7 PP's ! Now it is all about the wait............

No unit 40 tag for me........

Well I did not draw my unit 40 elk tag this year so I will be chasing elk with my bow in Colorado with an OTC tag this year !

As usual I got not one tag..but I bought an OTC Anterless Elk tag in my main area..I can also get another cow/calf tag in that area and in the adjacent one..They are what they call reduced price..five bucks less!! sheesh.

Got that second cow/calf tag..I was wrong though..it was not 5 bucks..it was 10 dollars less than a regular price tag. I think I can buy one more reduced price tag in another area

In Mass its all about doe tags. Most of the area's in the western part of the state it a tough draw. Not many deer. The closer you get to Boston the more tags that are available. The biggest zone in pretty much in the Metro area which is a sure draw with left over tags that can be purchased in Oct. I have a few small patches I hunt close to
Gillette Stadium. Always see deer, fox and yotes.

I do hunt Maine and its pretty much the same. No tags in the Northern half of the state with some tags in the southern half. The state has been hit pretty hard with weather over the last few years and it has cleaned out a lot. They are rebuilding.

Well, kid I usta work with called with a invite for 2d rifle season in GMU 15. Took him up on it, gotta pick up a general bull tomorrow...GB is valid in that GMU.
