What a Week

Monday-Bombing at the Boston Marathon-3 killed and heck of a lot wounded. News will not let up. Over and over again. LEO and military everywhere.

Thursday-Burried my 57 year old cousin. Seeing I'm older it was a rough day.

Thursday Night-Bombing suspects shot a young MIT Cop. Carjacked a Car. Ended up in Watertown (yes I live there) and all hell broke loose. Like a war zone. There must have been 2000 cops and military in the area. Killed one of the bombers and the other got a away for a while. One transit cop shot in the leg. House to house searchs.

I got to hand it to the Feds they used to press to smoke the remaiming one out. Actually surronded him and have him in custody. Understand the jerk is in pretty bad shap but who cares. I live on the other side of town so it did not effect me. I calmly sat glued to the tv with my 9mm and 12 ga close by. Yes condition 1.

Anyway its somewhat back to normal. I know a lot of local cops and they are a still phased by all of this. They all preformed in a outstanding manner and Iam prode of them.

Oh yes on Sunday had a knock on the door. It was the local cops looking for a suspect. They asked if they could look in the basement as I had to door open airing out Hoppe's. He called in Man Perfume. Nobody there.

I hope this week is better.

All in all it was too much data, to fast, to be accurately told. I do bet if it was up close, it was a 3 ring circus.

Its realy hard to say. The smoke looked almost like black powder. Yes Ed it was a 3 ring circus. Every reporter was reporting something different. One of the news shows last night pretty much got it right. Still a lot of unanswered questions and I understand white hat has shut up. Time will weed it all out.

My son in law's Cigar Lounge was 2 blocks from all of it. He tells me no bullet holes.
