Wink Well things seem to be gettin normal..

Or maybe it is some of the people are starting to get back to normal. Attended an auction today with a bunch of guns and reloading stuff. Only bought one gun a Remington 742 Semi Auto in 30-06..for a reasonable price. What really went for a high price was a real Cane gun. Don't see 'em very often but this one was probably made in the late 1880s to the late 1890s and in 22 caliber. Last cane gun I had sold for 6500 bucks..at auction. It was a bit nicer than this one but I figured if the price was right I'd buy it..No such luck. It sold for 1800 bucks But I got a bunch of reloading equipment including 14 boxes of 40 45 50 and 55 gr .224 bullets a thousand primers and 3 boxes of 7mm Nosler Partitions for 120 bucks..so the nuttiness is starting to die off out here a bit. Hope it continues...but on that note..I have warned of some other things here in the past..There was a bill put into the Senate to make it a law to have background checks done when you buy a pound of powder.. Keep your eyes peeled..It was put in by Harry Reid..Think Nobama is behind this?? They have to find a way to control us ..Control is what it is about!!

Control is the start of it

Then registaration

Then confiscation

Isn't that how Hitler did it?

Hitbama sure leans in that direction

Well you did hear in part of Nobama's speech in Mexico..he said we know(in the US) that most of the guns being used in crime in Mexico come from the United States. More big lie Nazi Speak. tell a lie enough and it becomes the truth..Most of the guns used in Mexican crime come from south of their border...and Nobama knows it

Venezuela has a nice new AK47 plant going, thanks to Uncle Vladimir in Russia, and I suspect their biggest customers are the drug lords. The majority of "American" guns in Old Mexico would be those that Holder allowed to 'walk' across the border.
I haven't been to a local gunshow in some time - the fellers on our local gun forum report prices still high and availability still very sketchy for ammo and components. Primers..... faggitaboutit.
I just bought a nice slightly-used Remington Model Seven Synthetic in .223Rem, and have plenty of handloaded ammo. Will change it to a laminate or walnut stock soon.
It does have the best 'plastic fantastic' stock I have yet held - feels solid, not flimsy like the one on my Win 70 in .270WSM. Need to restock that one too, but will need a complete trigger guard/floor plate unit - that ain't cheap!
