'13 cam pics

Yesterday afternoon I had a visitor to the back corner of the pasture. Not the biggest we've ever had stop by....promising none the less.

That is a brand new 50lb mineral block. At that end of the depression water collects in a very small puddle...my guess it was hitting it...a couple other shots show it approaching with his nose down...sniffin most likely.

No additional info...gonna have to reset the cam to take more than just 3 pics at a time.

The reason I say its pro left a 3 year old is it is deff a adult the ears are small when com pairing to the head but you don't see a delly sway like a 4 year old or older.
I am sure its not a yearling and I don't see any cubs with it when does your bear season open it will be back.

Our bear season opens the 10 of step your bear might move on by the time you can hunt it if you can put bait down I would advise putting a little down each day to keep him comeing back.

10-4. A buddy of mine at work tells me top spike the block with a mixture of molasses and sugar. Says to keep that block sweet.

Will start this week...and see what we'll see.

Nope. Sure didn't. From talkin with a ranger...poor acorn harvest really affected hunting this year. Deer, turkey and bear. From what he was sayin..bear hunters did a lot of runnin the dogs...but weren't killin many...small. We had some new activity around my ao. More pressure...more dogs runnin when they aren't allowed ect. anyway. I will hope he made it and keep my eye on the cams.
