Gun Shows...again
Gun Shows are something I just like tyo go to. Went to one up in Lewistown Mt last weekend. Not a big show by any means but kinda neat. A lot of local shooters brought out stuff from their loading rooms. Got 4 bullet moulds from one fellow. 3 on handles and one new in box RCBS for the 38-55..Like I really need it. But it was a package deal and the price was...as they say...RIGHT. Main reason I bought them was one was a Lyman 225415 22 mould BUT it was a hollowpoint. Heck I never saw a 22 hollowpoint mould. Also bought a few die sets..a new in box 348 Win for 10 bucks so now I can sell the old CH (I think) set..averaged 15 bucks a set. Most will be sold
Best buy for me was a good RCBS electric case trimmer. Runs great but only got 2 pilots with it..like I need a whole lot more..Paid 70 dollars so think I did good. Also saw a fellow I know and he had a really nice Marlin 39A 22 lever.. Darn things are spensive now but got it for 350 which is cheap for a 39 now..Just amazing the price things have gotten to be. And a neat buy was 850 CCI number 109 shotshell primers. for 4 dollars Now I can load a few 12 ga shells even cheaper. Just made 1600 lbs of number 8 shot.. I get half someone else gets the other half..they supplied the lead...already in ingots. yippee.

Skeet that motorized RCBS Trim Pro is about $250 new. It takes the 3 way cutter heads. Makes brass trimming a snap with a Case Prep Center plugged up next to it.
Went to B'Ham this last weekend, stopped by Marks gun store on the way, what an inventory of stuff they have. Saw three different SS Bearcat barrel lengths and a few SS Single Six 327 Magnum guns. Buddy that was with me bought two Browning Citori 28 inch guns, one 410 and the other 28ga new. They had a used Shepard scope, pretty rare to see a used Shepard. The show was pretty good I picked up a cheap 870 Rem in 20ga w chokes, an AR-15 lower, an A-2 butt stock w buffer and a blued Colt 1911 barrel. Then I went out to pick up the rifle I built for my dad about 5 years ago. He passed a year ago and I told the kids of the new wife I wanted it back, so that made the show for me. 22 ammo is down to $5 a box now and saw a pile of Federal HP stuff for $40 @ 500 no box, just plastic bags.
