Avast Security
Never posted a Rant before........Avast PC Security. I have used them for 2-3 years with zip issues. Over last 90 days, I have had massive slowdown was
blessed with pop up stating '60 day trial period'. After several conversations with tech support, they refused to answer any question unless I purchased a 'enhanced version' at 300% of my rate. I told them to cancel it. After several email were returned and no answer on several phone calls... guess I'm out of luck. Just a feel good note to anyone that considers using the service! DON'T..... Dan

Many thanks for the "Heads Up." There are many security companies out there and some are ok, the rest NOT! Customer SERVICE, or lack thereof, is a sure sign to Cut and RUN! Be well. Adam

Good point
PC security services can be a trip. Beware of Microsoft and H-P computer maintenance programs. They work well for software issues, but will not address hardware issues. As we used to say in the Air Force, "when in doubt, bail out". All the best...
