End of Year Muzzleloader Refit.

I have five trusty muzzleloaders; three flinters and two caplocks. My records disclosed I last cleaned and lightly oiled the Locks on September 16, 2012. So today was the day to redo the cleaning and oiling. ALL has been done.

When I LIGHTLY oil the locks, I place the muzzleloaders upside down in the horizontal gun rack for a month or two to ensure any oil drains away from the stocks.

If you have never cleaned and oiled your ML locks, it may be time to do so. If you want reliable ML function, minor care is needed.
