What did ya get for Christmas??

What did you get for Christmas?...even if you bought it yourself. I got rid of a few things at the gun show in early December and almost got through a gun show without buying a gun. Almost is the key word. Bought a S&W M-27 4 screw gun for a very good price...a Model 36 chiefs special that I had about 300 dollars in and 5 sets of RCBS rifle dies. But I saved most of the cash I had and bought a few guns just before Christmas. Rifle is a (1958)Remington 722 in 222 Rem Mag. With a 1960s Weaver V9 with adj objective. Scope looks new...gun is really nice about 92% or so Paid 300 bucks and worth every penny. From the same fellow I got a Ruger Mark I target in like new condition with a grip mounted red dot sight. Darn thing shoots better'n me. 275 and also got a High Standard 22 semi auto 2 mags and a holster for 150 bucks. Bought a couple of 22 revolvers from another fellow. one was a H&R 999 Sportsman in pretty good condition for 125 and a High Standard revolver in decent condition for the same price,, Gave the HS to my grandaughter and she can shoot that thing. I gave her a brick of ammo at the same time and she has worn it right out...(the ammo). Daughter is a Ranch Manager of a place up in Montana and I gave her 2 rifles..A Ruger 77 Varminter 22-250 and a Rem 788 in 308...just for in case. She also has my wife's Ruger Blackhawk 357 to carry around the ranch. Being in Grizz country she has her 11-87 slug gun with mag extension to carry on the horse when checking cattle.

I alo bought a bunch of reloading stuff but that is another story that I will post in the reloading forum. Hope you all had a great Christmas and have a New Year the way you want it.
