nice shooter
owned a 270 yrs ago and the recoil was very mild. like ears said, there are other choises like the 7mm08 or even the 25-06 which do a real number on the whitetail population and have even a lil less recoil..but if you can handle the 270...then go for it... its a real dandy deerin' round.
