Yep, that is the simple calculation Jabba and I use it all the time to make sure that the cars are getting good gas mileage.
I reset the trip odometer at every fill up and if it ever falls below a certain mile amount I start to worry and try to find out what is wrong. With the F-350, life is easy because it has a computer that automatically gives me the continuous mpg as I drive.
