Skeet, I have panned for gold in the rockies as a teen, and I always had fun doing it. I hope you find more than you expect, but that you don't get the fever in the process. Richard

Pannin and such
GOB..I did a bit of panning and such up in Alaska. It isn't often that you find much gold. Best I ever found was a chunk of Quartz with maybe a 1/4 ounce of ribbon gold in it. A fellow I knew really wanted it for a necklace for his better half(for want of a better term). I got a lot of money for it and it surely did turn out to be pretty. I must admit if you work at it in many areas you can make a bit of money..but as they say..just usually wages..and that ain't perzackly great sounding. I mean it sounds like werk!!
